The Prijepolje Women's Forum is a non-governmental organization founded in 2000 with the mission of working to improve the quality of life of women in the multiethnic Prijepolje community. Eight years later, within the organization, we founded the media of the civil sector, TV Forum, and then the portal Forum Info.
We have implemented more than 60 projects that promote gender equality, freedom of the media, the rights of national minorities and persons with disabilities, ecology, the fight against gender-based violence, the fight against corruption, transparency of local governments prava
The task of TV Forum, which is also the goal of the Association, is to make gender equality, women's issues, their creativity and creativity visible in the media and sensitize the public to gender equality and the position of women. As a station of the civil sector, TV Forum operates on a daily basis (program content is broadcast daily) and aims (and thus the Association) to inform, sensitize and educate the general public on numerous issues of public importance.
Currently, the Women's Forum, TV Forum and Foruminfo.rs have 9 employees, 6 women and 3 men. The association has 25 permanent members and 5 volunteers and is the only local television that has an informative program and its own production in Prijepolje.
TV Forum - the first women's television in Serbia and the Balkans, since 2016 through the multiplex Tornik - Ovčar covers the area of Southwestern Serbia (about 450,000 people).
