December 18 - PEOPLE, NO BORDERS!!!

In order to mark December 18, International Migrants Day, 35 activists, members of ANTI-TRAFFICKING (AT) NETWORK organized a street action in Dimitrovgrad, spreading a message PEOPLE, NOT BORDERS!!!

After the street action celebrating December 18, International Migrants Day, AT Network meeting was held in Dimitrovgrad. The representatives of 8 members of ANTI-TRAFFICKING NETWORK (AT Network) attended the meeting. The dates scheduled for the upcoming activities in the period from January to April 2016 were presented.

Marking the International Human Rights Day

In order to mark the International Human Rights Day, December 10, the activists of Anti-Trafficking Network organized street actions in four cities: Zrenjanin, Vranje, Dimitrovgrad and Vlasotince. The activists of other organizations joined their friends in their own cities, proving the importance of solidarity in the struggle for human rights.

Marking the International Day for Abolition of Slavery

The activists of Anti-Trafficking Network jointly marked the International Day for Abolition of Slavery in 4 cities. Starting at 15:00, street actions were held in Vršac, Užice, Vlasotince and Dimitrovgrad.

By organizing these street actions, the members of AT Network wanted to remind people that human trafficking is a global problem in conflict with human rights and to motivate people to put meaning to the words of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that no one shall be held in slavery or servitude.

European Anti-Trafficking Day

European Anti-Trafficking Day was marked by the members of Anti-Trafficking Network on October 18. AT Network make up eight non-governmental organizations from Belgrade, Niš, Vlasotince, Užice, Dimitrovgrad, Vranje, Zrenjanin and Vršac, which all went out into the squares of their cities distributing leaflets about the risks of human trafficking. Action in the Center of Zrenjanin Organized Succesfully. By organizing this action, the activists of the Pannonian Activist Organization wanted to draw citizens' attention to the fact that millions of children and half a million women a year become victims of human trafficking, and that anyone can fall victim to human trafficking, especially uninformed people.

Street Action Marking the Anti-Trafficking Month

In order to mark the anti-trafficking month, the activists of AT Network organized their first joint street action, which was held in front of Kalča Business Center on October 11, the last day of the Network meeting, at noon. By organizing this action, the activists of AT Network wanted to draw citizens' attention to the fact that millions of children and half a million women a year become victims of human trafficking, and that anyone can fall victim to human trafficking, especially uninformed people.
